The Story

The 47 mile Calamus Bicycle tour event grew out of a few local individuals that started riding in 1998 to train for a 100 mile ride. Today it averages 150-200 riders.

 

Camping

Camping available in the city park, or at the Calamus State Recreation Area.  Showers are available in the High School locker rooms or at the city park.

 

Safety

At registration, a waiver must be signed. Helmets are required. Roads are open to the public, so please obey all traffic laws.  

 

Registration

Registering (before midnight Thursday, June 9th in order to receive a t-shirt) is encouraged; however, you may register (without a t-shirt) online June 10 - June 16th, or Saturday morning ,  June 18th,  6:30 am - 8 am at Burwell High School, 190 I Street, Burwell, NE
